Firetrace International is the world leader in special hazard fire protection with its Firetrace® tube-based solutions for micro-enclosure, in-cabinet, high-value or mission critical machinery and equipment, as well as engineered clean agent systems for the protection of larger environments. More than 150,000 of the company’s Firetrace automatic detection and suppression systems are today protecting assets around the world that typically include: laboratory fume hoods and cabinets; dust and mist collectors; manufacturing equipment and machine tools; hazardous material stores; data centers and server cabinets; and electrical and control cabinets.

Firetrace uses suppression agents selected to match the particular fire challenge. These include the latest generation of clean agents – 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Suppression Fluid and DuPont™ FM-200®, which are safe for use in occupied environments. It is the only UL [Underwriters Laboratories] listed and FM [Factory Mutual] approved tube-operated system in the world that is tested as an automatic fire detection and suppression system. Firetrace complies with a host of internationally accepted standards and codes of practice, such as NFPA 2001:2012 and BS EN 15004:2008.
