The FLUOstar Omega is the first multifunction microplate reader for life science laboratories that incorporates BMG LABTECH’s ultra-fast, full UV-Vis spectrometer for absorbance assays.
Through proprietary technology, the FLUOstar Omega can capture an entire absorbance spectrum (220-1000 nm at 1 nm resolution) in less than one second per well.
Besides full Spectrum absorbance, fluorescence intensity, and luminescence detection modes, the FLUOstar Omega is fully upgradable to more advanced detection modes like fluorescence polarization (FP), HTRF®, LanthaScreen®, and AlphaScreen®/AlphaLISA®.
Additional features like bottom reading, incubation, multi-mode shaking, atmospheric control unit (ACU), and reagent injectors make it a great microplate reader.
