NuAire's Glacier model NU-9483 -86 degree C Ultralow Temperature Freezer provides 17.1 ft3 (487 L) of useable storage space for research, laboratory work, clinical, repository, and industrial applications. Constructed from RoHS compliant, electrical parts, heavy-weight cold-rolled steel and newly designed compressors for a quite 47 dba operation. Glacier freezers are built using non-flammable CFC/HFC refrigerants and CFC-free Polyurethane foamed in-place insulation to withstand extremely low temperatures, multi-point gasket seal and insulated inner doors ensuring temperature stability, accuracy and reliability.
