The alpha GST (aGST) ELISA Kit is a quantitative enzyme immunoassay for highly specific detection of aGST in Human urine, serum and plasma samples.
The assay has a calibration curve range of 2.5 - 80ug/L.
The test procedure is based on the sequential addition of urine sample, antibody-enzyme conjugate and substrate to microassay wells coated with anti-aGST IgG. The resultant colour intensity is proportional to the amount of aGST present in the urine sample.
Alpha GST is specific to the proximal tubules of the Kidney and can be used as an early indicator of acute kidney injury.
