It is ideal for High Throughput Screening (HTS) and High Content Screening (HCS) laboratories, as well as academic laboratories that need to obtain great sensitivity in biological and cell-based microplate reader assays.
By incorporating separate measurement and electronic systems for different detection modes, the PHERAstar FS achieves some of the lowest signal to noise ratios (S:N) in many different modes, including fluorescence intensity, luminescence, UV-Vis absorbance, time-resolved fluorescence, TR-FRET, fluorescence polarization, and AlphaScreen®.
Additional features include: two different lasers for TRF/TR-FRET and AlphaScreen®/AlphaLISA® assays; Direct Optic Bottom Reading for unmatched sensitivity in cell-based assays; and nanoliter volume measurements in 3456-well microplates.
