Being able to capture a full UV-Vis absorbance spectrum (220-1000 nm) allows for experiments not before possible on a microplate reader. By using the optimal wavelength, greater sensitivity and reliability in all absorbance assays such as ELISA, DNA, RNA, protein, and BCA can be achieved.
The SPECTROstar Omega is fully upgradable to other detection modes including luminescence, fluorescence intensity, fluorescence polarization (FP), time-resolved fluorescence, and AlphaScreen®/AlphaLISA®.
Additional features like bottom reading, incubation, multi-mode shaking, atmospheric control unit (ACU), 1536-well capability, and reagent injectors make it a great microplate reader.
